These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Urban Global University ("UGU", "the University", "we", "our", "us") website, learning platform, and all related services. By creating an account, enrolling in any program, or otherwise using our services, you ("you", "the Student") confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our related policies, including the Privacy Policy, Disclaimer Policy, Refund Policy, Code of Conduct, and Student Support & Complaint Resolution Policy. If you do not agree, you should not use our services.

1. About the University

Urban Global University is an international private university incorporated as Urban Global University LLC under the laws of the State of Delaware, USA. We offer professional, career-focused programs in business and management, technology and computing, artificial intelligence, data science, and related fields, alongside professional certifications and short courses. Our programs are private professional qualifications intended for skills development, career advancement, and international exposure.

2. Status & Recognition

UGU is a private institution. It is not a government-chartered or government-recognized university in the United States, India, the United Arab Emirates, or any other jurisdiction, and it does not claim equivalency with statutory or government-regulated degrees. Any private accreditations or memberships we hold reflect our commitment to quality standards and are non-governmental in nature. You are solely responsible for verifying whether a UGU qualification meets your needs with any employer, licensing body, professional association, or institution before enrolling.

3. Eligibility & Enrollment

You must be at least 18 years of age to enroll; applicants under 18 require the consent of a parent or guardian. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during enrollment and to keep it up to date. UGU may verify the information and documents you submit and reserves the right to decline, suspend, or cancel any enrollment obtained through inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading information.

4. How Our Programs Are Delivered

All UGU programs are delivered 100% online and are fully self-paced. Learning is provided through AI-generated podcast lessons, recorded video and audio modules, structured reading materials, notes, and case studies within our learning platform, supported by an automated AI learning assistant that offers on-demand explanations and summaries.

UGU does not provide live classes, live lectures, scheduled or timetabled sessions, live faculty or instructor interaction, or live doubt-solving. Because parts of our content are AI-generated for educational purposes, it may occasionally contain inaccuracies; you should independently verify any information you intend to rely on. We may update, improve, or replace course content at any time.

5. Fees, Payment & Refunds

Program fees are stated on our website or in official communications and are payable in full at enrollment unless an instalment arrangement is expressly offered. Access to learning content is granted upon successful payment. All fees are non-refundable. Please review our Refund Policy in full before enrolling. You are responsible for any taxes, currency-conversion costs, or bank charges associated with your payment.

6. Intellectual Property & Acceptable Use

All content made available through UGU — including AI-generated materials, recorded lessons, e-books, assessments, logos, seals, and platform design — is the property of UGU or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. You are granted a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to access this content for your own learning only. You must not copy, record, redistribute, resell, publicly post, or share UGU content or your login credentials, or use UGU's name, seal, or branding without written permission.

7. Certification

On completing the academic requirements of a program and meeting your financial obligations, you will receive a certificate of completion or professional qualification issued by UGU. As set out above, these are private qualifications, and recognition varies by employer, country, and authority; UGU does not guarantee acceptance or equivalency.

8. Career Services & Job Portal

UGU offers a Global Job Portal, included free for enrolled students after admission, which is powered by the third-party Jooble API. UGU acts only as a facilitator that surfaces externally listed opportunities; it is not an employer or recruitment agency and does not guarantee interviews, job offers, salaries, or relocation support.

9. No Guarantee of Outcomes

UGU does not guarantee any particular academic, professional, financial, immigration, or employment outcome. Any references to skills, roles, or career paths are illustrative only and depend on your own effort, background, and prevailing market conditions.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our services and content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. UGU is not liable for non-recognition of qualifications, loss of employment, income, or opportunity, platform downtime, device or connectivity issues, third-party service failures, or any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes take effect when posted, and your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA. Any dispute will first be addressed in good faith through negotiation and mediation and, if unresolved, through binding international arbitration, with final jurisdiction vested in the courts of Delaware, USA.
