By enrolling in any program and completing payment, the learner (“student,” “you,” or “your”) acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to this Refund Policy in its entirety.

This Refund Policy applies to all programs, certifications, and courses offered by Urban Global University, regardless of:

Country of residence of the student

This policy governs refunds only and does not cover deferrals, transfers, or academic evaluations, which are governed by separate institutional policies.

2. General Refund Principle

Urban Global University follows a restricted and conditional refund policy.

Refunds are not automatic and are not guaranteed.
Refunds are considered only under specific conditions outlined in this document and only when all eligibility requirements are met.

Except where explicitly stated in this policy, no refunds shall be issued under any circumstances.

3. Seven-Day Satisfaction-Based Refund Window

The University offers a limited satisfaction-based refund option strictly under the following conditions:

Refund requests must be submitted within seven (7) calendar days, defined as 168 hours, from the exact date and time of enrollment confirmation.

The enrollment date and time recorded in the University’s system shall be considered final and binding.

Requests submitted after 168 hours will not be considered, reviewed, or processed.

No extensions, exceptions, or grace periods apply.

3.2 Nature of Refund

The refund is not a trial refund.

The refund is based solely on dissatisfaction with course material or learning format, not on personal circumstances, expectations, or outcomes.

Refunds are not provided for reasons including but not limited to:

– Change of mind
– Time constraints
– Personal, professional, or financial reasons
– Internet or device issues

Language preferences

Learning pace or style mismatch

Employer, government, or third-party recognition concerns

4. Mandatory Refund Request Procedure

To be considered valid, a refund request must strictly follow the procedure below.

4.1 Method of Submission

Refund requests must be submitted only via email.

– Verbal communication

Support chats – will not be accepted or acknowledged.

4.2 Required Information

The email must clearly include:

Full name of the student

Registered email address

Program enrolled

Enrollment date and time

Clear written statement confirming dissatisfaction with course material

Incomplete or unclear requests may be rejected without further correspondence.

5. Review and Approval Process
5.1 Evaluation

All refund requests are reviewed internally by the University’s academic and administrative team.

Submission of a request does not imply approval.

The University reserves full discretion to approve or deny any request.

5.2 Decision Authority

The decision of the University is final and binding.

No appeals, disputes, or escalations will be entertained beyond this process.

6. Refund Amount Calculation (Critical Clause)

If a refund request is approved within the eligible period:

The University will refund only the net amount actually received by Urban Global University.

6.2 Non-Refundable Charges

The following charges are strictly non-refundable, including but not limited to:

– International transaction fees
– Payment gateway charges
– Currency conversion fees
– Bank processing fees
– Intermediary or correspondent bank charges
– Card network fees

These charges are imposed by third-party financial institutions and are not controlled or retained by the University.

6.3 Final Refund Amount

The refunded amount will equal:

Total Paid Amount – All Non-Refundable Charges

The University shall not be responsible for differences caused by:

– Exchange rate fluctuations
– Banking policies
– Payment provider timelines

7. Refund Processing Timeline

Approved refunds are processed within 7 to 14 business days.
Processing time may vary depending on:
– Payment method
– Bank processing timelines
– International banking regulations

The University does not guarantee exact credit dates.

8. Access Termination Upon Refund

If a refund is approved:

– All academic access is immediately revoked
– LMS access, materials, credentials, and support are terminated

Certificates or credentials (if any) become void
Continued access after refund approval is strictly prohibited.

9. No Refund After Refund Window

Once the 168-hour refund window has passed:

No refunds will be provided, regardless of circumstances

Continued participation in the program is considered acceptance of the course

This applies even if:

– The student does not complete the program
– The student stops accessing the platform
– The student does not submit assessments

10. No Outcome-Based Refunds

Urban Global University does not offer refunds based on:

– Employment outcomes
– Salary expectations
– Career progression
– Promotions or role changes
– Licensing or regulatory acceptance

Programs are designed for learning and skill development only.

11. Deferral and Alternative Options

In certain cases, at the University’s sole discretion:

– Enrollment may be deferred to a later period
– Content access timelines may be adjusted
– Deferral does not constitute a refund and does not reset the refund window.

12. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute:

– Violates this policy
– Results in immediate suspension of access
– May lead to permanent academic record closure

The University reserves the right to submit documentation to payment providers to contest disputes.

13. Policy Amendments

Urban Global University reserves the right to:

– Modify, update, or revise this Refund Policy at any time
– Apply the policy version active at the time of enrollment

Students are responsible for reviewing the policy before enrollment.
